One day I was on a walk with some coworkers around the Bentonville Square in North West Arkansas and the sunset was beautiful. I was stunned by the beauty of this part of the US and just had to paint it!Watercolor seemed like an obvious choice because of its luminous quality.

My first ever true gouache painting, I created this in between showings of the Addams Family. I would finish a show, then go back to my dorm room and work on this painting as a way to wind down from all the adrenaline of performing.
